Established as a CEU provider in 2025, Valderrama Psychological provides CEU courses tailored for California therapists licensed under BBS, including MFTs, CSWs, PCCs, and EPs.

Josie Valderrama, Psy.D. is a California licensed clinical psychologist in private psychotherapy practice since 2015. She trained for three years in community mental health with the San Francisco Department of Public Health as well as with the Oakland-based Native American Health Center. She has over five years experience as a clinical supervisor.

Dr. Valderrama is the author of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Journal: Prompts and Techniques to Practice Acceptance While Building the Life You Want (Callisto, 2022). She is a founding member of Bay Area Open Minds, a therapist directory affirming gender, sexual and relational diversity. Dr. Valderrama's doctoral research explored tech addiction, particularly problematic smartphone use.
